Rock Band Camp |
Young musicians are invited to come together to create a performing rock band/ensemble in eight days over two weeks. In that time they will learn the team building and musical skills needed to put together and perform an original or cover song on the final day in a small concert setting. We will provide P.A. system with microphones, amplifiers, drums, keyboard, and experienced instructors. We are asking the student to provide their own guitar, bass, drum sticks, or other instrument (flute, sax, trumpet). This is a great opportunity to experience what it means to organize a band and prepare them for a performance. We will engage your child 32 hours over two weeks at the Blacksburg Recreation Center, and provide healthy snacks each day. This comes do an hourly cost of $10.90. This camp is guaranteed to bring smiles and build confidence.

Prerequisite: Ages 12 to 17, with at least 2 years of musical experience with their instrument.
